Free COI tracker: find the expired certificates hiding in your vendor spreadsheet
Upload your vendor list — we’ll scan it and show you exactly which Certificates of Insurance have expired or are about to. Takes 5 seconds. No account, no email required.
Your file is read in your browser. It never reaches our servers — we can’t see your vendor data. Works best with a column for vendor name and a column for COI expiry date. Don’t have a sheet yet? Download our free template.
Got the certificate itself rather than a list? Check a certificate of insurance — it reads the dates and limits straight off the PDF.

Frequently asked
- Do I need to sign up to use this tool?
- No. You can scan your vendor spreadsheet without signing up, creating an account, or providing an email. The tool runs entirely in your browser.
- Does the file actually get uploaded to your servers?
- No. The spreadsheet is parsed locally in your browser using SheetJS. The file never reaches our servers and we cannot see your vendor data.
- What spreadsheet formats and column names work?
- Excel files (.xlsx, .xls) and CSV (.csv). The tool looks for a vendor-name column and an expiry-date column in the first row — common headers like "Vendor Name", "Subcontractor", "Expiration Date", or "Renewal Date" are recognized automatically.
Stop scanning manually
A spreadsheet can’t email you before a COI lapses.
This tool tells you what’s expired today. It can’t tell you next month. COI Tracker watches every vendor for you and sends a reminder 30, 14, and 7 days before each certificate expires — so an expired COI never becomes a denied claim or a stop-work order. Free for your first 10 vendors.
